This weekend one of my good friends from college was married at the beautiful Kyoto Grand Hotel in LA. I had the honor of being both guest and photographer. Here are some photos from her beautiful wedding. Congratulations Maiju and Albert!!!

There are so many things to say about Laura and Tim’s wedding. Great venue, beautiful flowers, gorgeous bride, amazing food, fun loving bridal party…the list is endless. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I think I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves on this one.

Angus Barn Pavilions Wedding (Amanda + Chris)

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of photographing the beautiful wedding of Amanda and Chris at the Angus Barn Pavilions.

The location was picture perfect and you couldn’t have asked for better weather. Add to the equation a fun loving couple and my favorite color (purple) and you have yourself an amazing wedding.

1 Photo Blog – Raleigh Wedding Photography

Between technical issues, bronchitis, and a crazy schedule…I realized today that I have not been updating my blog lately. So that my loyal followers finally have something new to look at, I decided to make a 1 photo blog entry.

I realize that 1 photo may seem stingy, but every once in a while I take a photo that deserves its own entry. Months ago I was a 2nd photographer for Emory Lane Photography, and I captured one of these rare beauties during the first dance. I wish I could say it was all skill, but sometimes great photography is a combination of technical skill, good timing, and some luck. This was one of those photos. I just love the story it tells.

And if you like 1 photo posts, check out page 22 of the Spring/Summer 2011 edition of The Knot North Carolina Magazine. They used one of my photos in an editorial piece. I was excited when they first contacted me about using the image, but seeing it in print for the first time was truly something special. Hopefully it will be the first of many times that one of my photos is featured in a magazine.
